My research investigates how moral responsibility survives transformative experience, moral luck, and profound personal change. I am particularly interested in self-formation and constitutivist approaches to agency.

I examine how rhetoric and semantic change reshape democratic deliberation. My recent work explores the relationship between neoliberalism and shifts in the meanings of everyday political language.

Philosophy & Literature

I use literary texts as sources of philosophical insight, examining how novels illuminate agency, identity, moral psychology, and the ethical dimensions of narrative.
